The chains lowering the huge metal box into the pit of the Colosseum protested largely, a grotesque screeching noise issuing from them periodically. The huge airship doing this unwise task looked like it was straining for dear life to stay afloat the gentle wind currents. Already in the pit stood a blonde haired guy who seemed to be around 17. His skin was brown in color. From a distance, you could still tell he was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, some shoes suspiciously like Converse, and whose torso was wrapped in bandages, over that only being an unbuttoned and open black tailed jacket, the sleeves reaching his elbows. But his black attire was not much of interest compared to The unnecessarily large sword he held loosely in one hand, letting the tip touch the dirt ground. An angry frown was pasted on his sharp face, a hint of impatience obvious in his body language.
The huge metal box hit the ground with a thud, the chains released from the airship to drop all the way to the ground, dirt exploding up around each of the large flailing whips. A man that had previously been on top of the box climbed down stairs on the side to the ground, where he rushed to the front of the metal structure. There he slid open the slider doors, then ran away to safety like a madman.
The blonde's frown-y face was now a madman grin of his own as he awaited whatever it was in the crate to exit. His light blue eyes shining, he tore his sword from the ground and ran up a few feet, now in a battle stance.
"Come on out, beasty!" He called, still grinning. "Come out and fight-- to the death!"

The last thing she remembered of seeing any daylight was when she had been tricked into trapping herself in the confines of a metal box that was reinforced with some kind of spell or another that was impervious to her fire. Such things didn't simply lie around on the ground, so whoever had made this was not joking. She didn't know how long she was trapped in the box--it could have been minutes, it could have been days. All she knew was that whoever or whatever was carrying it had absolutely no sense of balance.
A thud shook the box and nearly knocked its contents off her feet. Shortly after, one of the metal sides slid away to reveal the bright outside. Only the only ground outside was stone, and not a natural stone like one would find in the desert or such. It was perfectly smooth, save the scratches she could see in it. They appeared to be from some sort of weapon, or rather, many different kinds. Beyond even the opening of the box, she saw one lone being with something large and metal in his hands. This man ran abruptly towards her cage, stopped, and shouted crazily at her. Upon closer inspection, she saw that not only was he strong, but also something she really wasn't supposed to quarrel with; a kitsune.
For now, she had nowhere to go but forward. She lifted her feet one by one and moved out of the cage, revealing herself to be a massive dragon that looked like she had become a part of the metal box. Once out, she gave her real eye a moment to adjust to the bright sun. She looked around and realized why the ground was the way it was. She and the kitsune were in a giant arena, or rather, a pit inside of an arena. The crowds seated in a circle around them were going crazy. The two were meant to fight.
Wanting to avoid what they insisted she do, the pale yellow and silver beast spread her wings and took off towards the mouth of the pit, only to be greeted by a cage-like top that was slid over it by some contraption under the ground. The dragon hit it before she could stop herself and fell the short way back to the ground. Thankfully, she was anything but fragile and got to her four feet immediately. Now that she was trapped in here with the kitsune, she turned to face him and nothing more.

What a beauty. The kitsune hadn't snagged anything like this in forever. Half robot, half dragon, this was going to be a beauty to beat. Mere humans were not enough for the blonde, hence him never battling such foes. Nope, he liked to stick with the big and beastly. This was no exception.
He marveled at the tremendous force of her wings as they pushed down the air, how it blew his hair back from his face, and watched with an inner smirk as she was forced to come back to land. No getting out that way. She'd have to stay and fight, yes this beasty would.
Unfortunately, she was making no move to attack.
You would think she'd be a bit angry, at the least! But no, she just resembled a statue. Not even a muscle twitched. Okay, so this wasn't going to work. The crowd would get disappointed, and while he didn't give much of a crap what they thought, if they wanted they could shoo us off for another pair of fighters. That was not going to please him. Growing infuriated, the teen resorted to violence. Which was the purpose of his bringing the dragon robot thing here.
With a screech of frustration, the teen rushed forward, running at a speed no normal human could achieve, and swung at a sickening speed with his impossibly large and pointy sharp sword at the dragon's foreleg, making a combo of swings. The one that actually consisted of flesh, obviously. He was going to force the beast into a corner, make her fight. He'd had to do this before, and he knew the drill.

Perhaps a fight was inevitable. This was made clear when the humanlike boy sped towards her at an insane speed, sword ready to bite and taste flesh. He wouldn't need to shove her up into a corner to get a fight out of her; as with any other "animal," you attack her, she'll attack you back. When the kitsune swung his sword at her, the great reptile reared up, exposing her white scaly underside, and spread her wings as wide as they would go. Half a second later, her huge hands slammed onto the ground where the teen had just been. Had he not moved back, he would have redefined "flat as a pancake." Wanting him to get even further back, she swiped at him with her metal claws. Her wings flared to the side and she lowered her head so that she was on his level but not too close to him. Her mouth opened with the sound of squeaking hinges, but that was nothing compared to the ground-shattering roar that emitted from the dark depths of her throat. Even it had a hint of the sound of squeaking metal, but mostly it was a roar no different from other dragons this size. It was also similar in the sense that he had better stay away from her if he didn't want a real fight on his hands. Problem was, he probably did.

Haha. That was close. A bit too close for comfort, but the idea of fighting a dragon was already far past the comfort zone of any normal person. Besides, the blonde smiled in the face of danger. And stabbed it. So a huge rush of exhilaration, instead of mayhaps the natural fear, rose up in him as he leaped backwards. A game. That's all this was. A game. And he would be the winner.
The little kitsune was almost blown off his feet from the force of the beast's machine-edged roar. Which was quite loud, and contributory to the busting of one's eardrums. Busted eardrums are not usually valued by people, as that usually means that you're deaf. No one much wants to be deaf, though if you do, all you gotta do is fight a dragon. More than not, however, you'd probrably just end up dead first. And when you're dead it doesn't really matter if you're deaf or not.
The blue-eyed teen wanted neither to be deaf nor dead, but he sure looked like he was striving for one of them. As the dragon lashed out at him with it's metal claws, which were probrably very skillful in the art of ripping open skin, the foxy boy leaped into the air, not over them, but instead landing on them and gripping tightly as they swung in a wide and deadly arc. Shortly after boarding this new speedy ride, he proceeded to running somewhat comically and without great balance [but considering what he was doing it was pretty good] up the dragon's metal arm, than leaping off and this time slashing at the thing's golden head. He was quite the smart lad.

The dragon thing was like "Oh screw you." and clamped down on the body of the kitsune when he got too close to her face. Only his sword got flunged out of his hand and through her real eye and prolly to her brain. She was like "FUUUUUUUCKKK" and bit down really hard and then keeled over and died.

The kitsune's spine snapped in half when the dragon bit him, and he pissed his pants, but he couldn't feel it. And he was like "-bleep- YES" when he killed the dragon, but then he barfed up a shitload of blood and was like "-bleep- NO" and then he took one last breath and screamed "-bleep-" before he keeled over and got squished under the keeled over dragon.
Then everyone in the crowd started cheering insanely and went to rob the kitsune of his wallet.
